24 minute documentary with slideshows. A gentle and revealing portrait of Dodd as he discusses his love of pots, shares some of his personal philosophies and talks about the importance of using local materials and hand-made tools in the making of his work.

Watch him unpack his kiln and throw a large, textured vase on his kick wheel.

Jim Malone - Potter

Jim Malone - Potter (2011) is now available on DVD.

20 minute film with slideshow.

Malone lives and works in the beautiful and remote Cumbrian countryside. Our film provides a rare insight into the working life of one of Britain's most respected potters. Malone talks about and demonstrates the decorating of pots in the Korean style (Hakeme) and firing alone over a 24 hour period.

Nic Collins lives and works in Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor. This film shows him throwing and follows him during the firing of his Anagama kiln.

He discusses his love of making pots, his working methods and the importance of wood firing to his work.

Ken Matsuzaki - Elemental

Elemental (2009) is now available on DVD.

45 minute documentary with 2 extra films and 2 slideshows.

Ken Matsuzaki is a Japanese potter, the favoured apprentice of Tatsuzo Shimaoka (the National Living Treasure).

This film shows him throwing in his workshop and features unique footage of him firing his Anagama kiln, with the help of Phil Rogers who commentates on the process, and his exhibition in the UK.

Phil Rogers - A Passion for Pots

A Passion for Pots (2009) is now available on DVD.

66 minute documentary with over 2 hours of additional material.

This film follows Phil Rogers on trips to Japan and the USA and shows him making and firing pots in his native Wales.

Over 2 hours of additional material show him throwing, glazing, firing and opening his kiln and also includes film of his visit to the Hamada Museum in Mashiko. 2 disc documentary.
